Restaurant 'The Mushroom' in Oradea

"The food was tasty and the view from the place was very nice. They could make more parking spots for their customers as we had to park on the field next to the restaurant because there were no more parking spots left (there were others parked on the field too). Rating the atmosphere to 1 because it wasn't very nice that they had all the windows closed on their terrace but they allowed people smoking there, practically it was inside which is prohibited by law!"

"The Ciuperca restaurant on the hill above Oradea is an ideal place for both ordinary and special occasions. The cuisine is delicious, I guess everyone can choose from the menu. Sitting on the indoor terrace offers a beautiful view, it's a shame that it can be a problem if a smoker sits at the next table. I was a little annoyed that the staff spoke very little English, but in the end we somehow managed to communicate. My Ciorbă de burtă was good, it needed a little more salt. However, the portions are generous, we honestly couldn't eat everything. Overall, however, we rate it as a place worth visiting and we would be happy to come back here again."

"This is one of my fathers favorite restaurant to take people. Amazing panoramic views of the city. We got a big platter of food. The staff was amazing, everything was very clean and the food was very tasty and expertly prepared!"

"This place is located on the top of a hill in Oradea, it has a long past. It was renewed many times. From here you can have a wonderful landscape of Oradea. Here you can find a restaurant and also place for events. The restaurant has a large offer of really great soups, meals, drinks and deserts. Check out this place for yourself, it's worth it."

"An extraordinary restaurant, the best view in the city for sure, very high quality food, decent prices, very helpful and welcoming waiters, I warmly recommend, I had a wonderful dinner with my wife. We recommend a walk on the serpentines below the restaurant for exercise after the meal :)"

"This is one of the best places to eat in Oradea. The place and the view is purely amazing, on Dealul Ciuperca (Mushroom Hill), very good prices, friendly staff and delicious food. We ate here on Monday so it wasn’t crowded. We ordered tripe soup with sour cream and hot pepper, tagliatelle with shrimps and zucchini, pinepapple chicken breast and truffle puree, tuna salad, gorgonzola chicken with gratin potatoes, chicken paprikas (heavenly) and of course….romanian cheese dumplings with sour cream and sour cheery jam for desert. This is the best place to come and eat as a tourist. A minus from my end because some people smoke inside the terrace."

"The view was incredible and the food was amazing. This place is on top of a hill but the climb was so worth it . I ordered the hamburger and it was delicious. The service was efficient and my server was helpful and friendly. They had the menu in English which was helpful for me (American). I’m definitely coming back here next time I’m in Oradea!"
